The Limitations of Bureaucratic Union Structures
There was a recent federal intervention to stop rail workers from striking for basic conditions such as time off and raises. Joe Biden aided by most of the supposedly lefty squad of the democratic party in this case. It says a lot about the limitations of both attempting to vote democrat for labor concerns but also limiting movement tactics to those circumstride by government. What's required here is able to build like a larger social movement of workers engaging in strikes and building or union organizations they control.
