The Importance of Tradition in Catholic Doctrine

Protestants and Catholics should be able to use the same kinds of explanations when difficulties are presented against our theological systems. Tradition is not granted the same inerrancy as Scripture, but tradition forms the basis for the interpretation of Scripture. To say Christ has only one nature is the heresy of monofusitism. The Church teaches Christ is one person with a fully human nature and a fully divine nature.
