The Importance of Psych in Focus Testing

If you can't operationalize what it is you want to measure, then that's going to hurt your ability to do the job. One of the greatest joys in my professional career is to throw in a whole bunch of my game design students or programmers that have had psych 101 or beyond. And they are always consistently just doing me proud and asking all the right research questions. Yes, your data is only as good as the instrument collecting it. If you have a ruler that stretches that's not really going to be a very reliable instrument really at all.
