Why Do Most Americans Believe in God?

For the first time ever, pew religious research foundation did ask americans to try to get some of their opinions on god and suffering. Around 91 % of Americans believe in god but most do not hold him responsible for the bad things that happen in life. 61% said suffering is mostly a consequence of le's own actions; 69%) said suffering is mainly a result of the way society is structured. A little over half said it can be a low bit of both.
