Our anxiety tells us that what we are scared of is dangerous or fraught. And so we can talk back to those thoughts with an analogy like a boxing match. We can say things like, well, what's the worst that can happen? and then do the thing. Put action before motivation and try to drop those safety behaviors that're holding us underwater.
