The Reward for the Mind

At this stage the mind values gaining rank and status within one's inn group. The old conformist sense of self is now seen as fake and inauthentic. Success takes precedence over conformity to the group, or pleasure that one gets for conforming. This stage enjoys criticising others as a way to establish one's own sense of sup priority and power. It feels good being noticed as unique.
