Is There a Consequence to a Crisis Response?
There was a great uncertainty raised about banks, especially regional banks. They are trying to avoid further problems down the road when you raise interest rates by a factor of at least 25 in less than a year. There's a whole asset on the portfolio of these banks, and those are going to be under pressure with this higher interest rate,. And so, that's really what they're trying to do.
