The History of Air Conditioning

This episode originally came out on August 29th 2018. It is 86 degrees in my little studio right now. People have probably fanned themselves with their hands or with relatively flat objects for about as long as people have existed. The earliest fans were fixed or rigid and made of all kinds of feathers, fronds, textiles and other materials. And a lot of these methods are still in use in one way or another today.
