The Rise of the House Price Index in New Zealand
The Institute of New Zealand's data for April came out last week. The house price index was a little stronger than expected, but sales were very weak. It could be the early signs of the downturn, either being here or being not too far away,. But either way, I think that there is further evidence that the market's not falling away as far as it was previously.
