The Strong Poet Is Not a Demon

bloom tells us that the strong poet is not possessed by a demon but rather becomes one. The reader experiencing the sublime only needs to see the most indefinite outlines whilst the augmented poetic consciousness in demonization sees clear outline poets are prophets and poets are seers they connect with distant medicine man, shayman of their tribal ancestors. In this vision the poet's great original is still there but the great original loses their great originality. Bloom prompts us to think of the counter sublime or demonization as being a war between pride and pride and momentarily the power of noontus wins.
