The Current Renaissance of AI

The current renaissance is from deep learning, big data, improved hardware, open source software and collaboration. Transfer learning allows AI models to be pre-trained on one task and then fine-tuned on another related task with limited data. Energy consumption uses significant amounts of energy. I haven't heard the amount of environmental backlash that I have for AI as we saw for crypto or probably still see for crypto. It's sort of calmed down, but that's probably coming. Super emphasis on deep learning and scalability and generalization.
