How to Write a Character
What characters look like is a huge part of the brainstorming process. The costume designer can do whatever they want, but it's still your job to visually represent them on the page in a way that informs who they might cast for the story. I have a very simple set of whiteboard prompts and these are all designed to visually get to the heart of who your character is. Often these prompts can inspire other parts of the movie as you're doing thislike think about loot.
