The Difference Between Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia

Dementia is an umbrella term, and what it really describes is how someone is because of their brain disease. It's saying specifically that they're unable to carry out the activities daily living due to a brain disease. The most common brain shrinking condition is Alzheimer's disease but there are others such as luobody disease or frontotemporal dementia. So we know that there are two proteins that are building up.
