CNN's Jim Boulden worked for a company called thompson in San Francisco. He was on the list of 60 people that they wanted to interview, five minutes away from his office. But he decided to turn the interviews around and start asking them about their problems. After 90 minutes 'he laid out his vision of what this company needed' And it seemed to have done the job - but then someone else came along who wouldn't meet all his demands. So i started doing quarterly stock meetings with analists rather than financial analysts. Put together a strategic five year plan completely related to how we related to the annal street Annapolis area. It changed our way of looking at things.
