Capitalism and the American Population

The separation between the state and the economy under capitalism means that capital it depends on, like, the political costs of going to war. Pre capitalist colonialism had a very different political character. So i think that is a part of why it seems so, so diffuse, ambiguous. But is it's not actually that diffuse and an ambiguous. And there's a way in which people kind of call on the colonial history to make sense of concrete conditions right now. It can also distort what is happening currently, which is what we need to understand.
