The house on fortune street was my attempt to construct a narrative where the reader would feel very sure that she knew what happening. And then subsequently that view would be overturned or called into question, right? I am really happy that you say that, because, i mean, if if i was a tenth of the writer of ford madic ford, i would love to aside to do what he did in the good soldier, but not being able to make that work.
