The Status Quo and the Future of Science

I think there are ways of either incrementally modifying things or kind of changing things from the outside and then doing it kind of experimental funding mechanisms. If those are shown to be successful maybe kind of incorporating them into the status quo such as like the way the National Science Foundation operates. I don't know if we've hit on a number of clear new forms but we definitely need to have that kind of like evolutionary process of trying new things.
