How to Build Volume for Your Medium Long Run
The medium long run is the unsung hero of half marathon and marathon fitness. There's an exponential benefit to aerobic capacity building when you get to the later miles of your medium long run or of your long run. Focusing on that has an outsized benefit, not the same as miles placed elsewhere in the schedule. Add a couple of miles to yourmedium long run. That's where you're going to get the biggest bang for your buck.
