Romantic Comedy or Romance Film Vision of Love
The romantic comedy is a genre that tends to try to deconstruct something only to end up in the exact same place. People don't like it and part of it is because I think it kind of refuses to do that sort of thing. We want to buy into a narrative as the viewer that kind of involves this concept of like yes there is a destiny or there is a plan or something yeah just like some we we desire some general sense of closure at the end of a story.
