Ableism has been defined as a set of psychological or social, economic, cultural, imaginary, technological conditions. It's spatially organized environments around just normative people and it creates an institutional bias towards autonomous independent bodies. Even research into ADHD is generally done by people who do not have ADHD. And health care professionals either know this or they should, but the good ones know it - yet here we are.
