Some disability theologians, they'll argue like this. If my son is not disabled in heaven, then I will not be able to recognize him. And the loving relationship that we have developed on earth will be lost forever. Down syndrome, being quadriplegic, even having Alzheimer's are all given as examples of deeply identity conferring disabilities that a person cannot exist without in heaven.
