Zapata and Maganya

Ildardo Maganya was the one pushing for external links and alliances. He wrote letters to Emilio Vasquez Gomez, who was then living in exile in Texas. Zapata insisted that they needed Pancho Via back in the fold. This budding alliance had to be handled delicately though, and their cooperation was never publicly acknowledged.
