Rivera: I started paying my reparations in the form of financial planning services for black queer folks or indigenous queer folks, making sure that the level of which I am giving is just above what I am paying in rent. She says she doesn't want to hurt her own stability and chance for survival by spending money on frivolous things like takeout per month. "Racial justice is as important as me just like doing fun stuff," Rivera says.
