The Importance of Having a Type in a System

I was working with the the main designer on this product um was super wherever everything was and so we talked about that was the first thing we said like we need to make it consistent everywhere and in that particular. So you have a person object that has type visitor and probably some conditional logic right so if it's a patient you're going to probably get different attributes and if it't a visitor yep totallyUm yeah more data basically yeah yeah a lot more if it's an issue and I'm curious though, would a developer ever have condition like is there, wouldn't it always be some sort of base or you know whatever language you're usingyou're going to use different words for it
