The Support I've Feeled in Lexington
I think people imply that whenever they ask me about living in Kentucky, but also the culture of the South is so open and friendly and welcoming. It was very easy for me to meet people and mom, when like, it was a struggle to be alone and struggle with my bipolar, but I needed the support. In writing, the beautiful, active and lively writing community in Lexington is beautiful,. have welcomed me as a writer and honor me as a person of color, a writer of color. And that has been very encouraging and it just makes you feel more like home.
