In the cloud, it's really unlikely that your backups and recovery capabilities are that degraded. Data theft can have long-term ramifications in terms of how long it takes for the organization to recover from data theft. That sort of impact of an incident can span not just days or weeks but months into years. So basically crypto miners go into the most prevalent threat bucket while data theft and ransomware goes into the most damaging threat bucket.
