The Gift of Foresight
The movie is about a woman who receives the gift of foresight. The idea that Louise can see the future is very much a metaphor for the way in which we can all see our future basically because Louise was so cut off from like life and death she didn't envision really any brain. It's because she embraced or like she came to understand the aliens the Haptop language the language of life and now also comes to understand oh wait I'm really going to die someday. We're not striving to learn a nonlinear language so that we can sees the future this is sort of more oflike a symbolic move that is kind of representing how we engage with how we think about our lives but
