The international criminal court and all of these post-Cold War institutions that were created to quote unquote, man is in global, but a humanitarian way, are basically ways to discipline the global south. I think last time I checked, everyone who's ever been convicted by the ICC is from Sub-Saharan Africa. So I think it's not surprising that the war would be worse. But at the same time, there's no doubt that what's really going on here is that there's a perceived threat to a NATO or Western security order.
