How Do We Get Different Colors in a Tube of Paste?
How do we get different colors in a tube of toothpaste? Why don't the stripes and the bed and the white mix? The answer is it is not stripped inside the tube what there are inside the tubes are compartments with different colored toothpaste goo in them. When you squeeze a fluid it's incompressible so the force is equivalently transmitted across the fluid. It's only when you get right to the end of the tube that you get a bit of a mishmash where they've all mixed together.
