Jeff Yang: The movie sort of redeems Oppenheimer in whatever way it does. But I do think the movie also leaves out all the part where the people were evicted from their homes and their businesses and homes destroyed to build those almos. There's something kind of awe inspiring and also equally terrifying and upsetting about the fact that we can just conjure this thing out of nowhere. It would be amazing if we could put that amount of energy into what we did for the atomic bomb in the moonlight.
