Is the Greeks the Primary Movers of Culture?
A lot of our perception of the ancient Mediterranean is so dominated by Greek and then later Roman culture. So why is it that we have such a Helena centric view of this period? I mean, how does that distort our understanding of it? Yeah, there's no doubt that the Greeks were big movers of culture, for sure.
