The History of Acrylic Nails
A lot of the salon still use the term acrylics. It's actually outdated verbiage and it has like negative connotations. In 1979, there was this liquid and powder system created by CND called the Solar Nail Liquid and Powder System. The modern sophisticated term is called nail enhancements according to CND. And they can be created with liquid or powder gel.
