I wasn't real estate before getting into the direct marketing and had successfully promoted real estate seminars through direct mail and then through television. We basically made a 30-minute TV show and we would go to a city and we would run the half-hour infomercial and ask people to show up at different ballrooms of local hotels. At the end of the time, the people could order juice machines, which we would then ship out of our office in Seattle. And all those seminars were supplemented with local PR as well. When you layer in the PR and the media is talking about it, it adds a level of credibility then that works synergistically with the advertising and the two work together very
