Is There a Transmission in Consciousness?

There's a transmission when two people come together or you go to a spiritual teacher. Sometimes the spiritual teacher may just look at you as for example Ramana Maharshi, one that was spirited to you to live in the first half of the 20th century in India. He very often people would come to him with questions and quite often you wouldn't answer. But immediately the question dissolved and there was a transmission. Now how does it happen here? You might ask does the presence travel to everybody who is watching it doesn't work like that. So there can be a transmission in consciousness don't mean that consciousness has to travel from here to wherever you are because it's already there.
