What Was Your First Job in Currency Trading?
I was a clerk in the currency pits at the Merck. I alternated and clerked for traders in those pits for my first year there, maybe nine months before I actually started trading. After that we moved the firm wanted to go into the euro dollar futures,. This was football field side and the options were on one end and then all the other different contracts traded across the room. You needed to be tall, you need to be aggressive because you needed to make yourself seen and heard across an enormous amount of people and enormous amount of noise.
