The Importance of Hanging Out
Hanging out is unstructured or lightly structured time that we spend in the company of others. I wanted to start with parties because that's where you started, but also because I think that they're like the big boisterous headlining version of hanging out. But then I sort of diverge into thinking about other forms of hanging out, including quieter versions like dinner parties. The dynamics are really different at a dinner party than it is say at a giant party with 50 people in attendance.
