The Importance of Large Scale Investment in the Climate Crisis
The public sector has just been completely constrained by this austerity regime. Investing in infrastructure that's needed for society is just seen as kind of off the table like we just can't afford it right so I think but that's the real sort of contradiction with what we face with the climate crisis. Almost everyone who looks at this from a materialist standpoint understands that if we're going to solve this, large scale investment will have to be made.
