The way these scams are structured is, you know, anything and everything you say to a scammer can and will be used against you. The idea in the name comes from the analogy to a farmer fattening up a pig before it gets butchered. In chinese it's shasupan, which is a pig butchering scam. And that's what the scammers are taught to do with the people they are targeting for these scams. They're trying to fatten them up by getting them, first of all, to trust the scammers.
