The first drive is the human drive for control, that we want to have an element of control of our life. What people tend to do is they try to gobble up more control in their lives and they try to control other people. Controlling for new is having that perspective that looks for what can I create or do now that will challenge me. And so this could be activated in a negative way. But to be more fully alive, a very simple thing they can do to activate the drive for control is to do what we call control for new.
