The West's Threat of Military Intervention in Niger

The leaders of the military government in Niger have warned that France is plotting a military intervention. Mali and Burkina Faso say if there's a Western military intervention in Niger, they would consider it a declaration of war. In September 2022, there was another coup inBurkina Faso which brought to power a nationalist military leader named Ibrahim Triore. He's now 35, making him one of the world's youngest leaders.
