The Ideal of the Nuclear Family

People aren't isolated and atomistic individuals, they need a family context. Even within the confines of a traditional marriage, there isn't a person alive who makes that ideal manifest in all possible ways at every possible moment. How do we forestall regulatory capture? We energy as work. There's no excuse for putting forward energy policies that punish those who are absolutely poor. And then environmental stewardship, right? That word implies that human beings are not a cancer on the face of the planet.
