His first choice of major at swarthmore was chemistry. And all of them spent the academic yearof 19 59 60 in oxford. David was not a suave, dressing, lady's man type person. No, not at all.
David Lewis was one of the greatest minds of the 20th century, who few outside of academia know much about. By the time of his death in 2001, he was the greatest systematic thinker in metaphysics since the Enlightenment.
