Film Review - Head

Head is an extraordinary film and while it's impossible to sum up in anything less than an hour long episode of its own it's certainly not a film that's to everyone's taste. The monkeys fan base was mostly children between the ages of about 10 and 14 but very few 11 year olds want to see art films influenced by the French new wave and Eastern philosophy. While Diddy Diego has almost rap rewriting of the monkey's theme that we heard earlier sets out a lot of how the film has to be interpreted and how it works narratively. In later solo performances Torque would give the subtitle the Karma Blues.
