Is Everything a Trap That We Can't Escape?

I think there's something almost satisfying about believing that everything is a trap that we can't escape from. I just like these things that stick to Freud. Foucault in one of these late seminars he gave, last year I had nothing to do. He lays bare this allegiance between his thought and cynicism. Most people who are Foucauldian don't really know they're FouCauldian. They've accepted the notion that power is that we have to think of everything in terms of power.
