Are Women Blamed for Headaches?

Sally Kohn: Why no matter what are women blamed for not getting the treatments that they need? She says a study looked at how women with chronic pain appeared physically in the doctor's office. Women dressed too nicely, she said, were perceived as feeling fine; disheveled or unkempt made them look like they needed more medication. Kohn: It was like, you could not win. And that's what this study found is like women are having to actually manipulate based on how they perceive their doctor will perceive them.
