You limit yourself by only using English

Can you travel the world with just English? Yes, you can, but there’s a big but. From my travels last year across Lithuania, Egypt, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and Japan, I found that English varies widely and flexibility is key. While English often works, knowing some local language makes travel richer, more respectful, and opens up experiences you’d miss otherwise - from ordering food without English menus to connecting with locals at festivals. Learning a language doesn’t have to be a need, it can be a choice that enhances your journey.
