Is the RBA Going to Hike the Cash Rate?
The RBA governor said the priority right now is to get inflation down. That all comes across as much more hawkish and probably his prior comments there. He also noted that only a very small proportion of home loans in Australia in negative equity saying that less than half of 1%. In that respect, that really supports the view that we have had over the past couple of weeks that the RBA is likely to do at least three more hikes.
