What Drew Me to My Current Position in Research
After college, I was a math and science teacher. One of the things that I kept thinking about is this fact that my students weren't leaving the issues that were going on in their lives at the door of the classroom. So all of those holes drew me back to graduate school where I trained to become a child psychologist. My first job after postdoc was in a school of public health. But I always wanted to get back to this issue of how do we support children in schools.
