The Daily Sacrifice

Jesus said we should take our crosses daily as we follow him. To carry your cross does not mean to move forward with courage despite the fact you lost your job or your spouse. It means you have abandoned all hope of life in this world. The other sacrifice we'll briefly touch on is called the free will offering. We learn about it leviticus 22 and Jesus chose to lay down his life. If jesus had wanted to live, he had the power to avoid death.
