Hooked is a book about how to build healthy habits and Indestractable is all about how to break bad habits. Habits are not addictions, an addiction is a persistent compulsive dependency on a behavior or substance that harms the user. A habit is simply an impulse to do a behavior with little or no conscious thought. It's something that is actually beneficial to us because it lets us offload a lot of this cognitive load from our brains.
